Right. I'm coming to you two in confidence because you always seem to know everything that's going on in the Tower.
Patil, you and I already talked about the importance of keeping secrets secret. Avery and I spoke to the Prefects and I thought we put an end to breaches of confidentiality. But since then, someone obviously talked to a reporter about Professor Sinistra and Professor Raz. And I know that someone else told about the dragons being the first task. Now, I've learned that our Beauxbatons guests know about the CCF project Professor Sinistra asked us to help organise with regard to the Ball.
You both ought to recall that Professor Sinistra instructed the CCF specifically to keep our efforts quiet. Even though few students entered the year with much in the way of social graces, it's beyond embarrassing to make that clear to half the wizarding world. And while it's true Beauxbatons are living just outside our quarters, that's no reason to be careless. I should have thought Ravenclaw more than capable of protecting Hogwarts' reputation.
Now, I know one or the other of you have got to have some idea who might be blabbing. I want to know who. And...I'd consider it a personal favour if you'd tell me what you know.
