Private Message to Percy Weasley
Jun. 14th, 2012 11:05 pmI don't believe it.
My father sent me a birthday card today.
You seem to have got away with it. Welcome to the real world: Earning your keep, making something of yourself and striking out on your own.
Really, dad?
Ta ever so.
Maybe I will go stay with Karo for a while.
Anyway. The Feast is over and it was quite the affair. Krum's still glowering at everyone (and loads of people are glowering at him over what he did to Harry) and Professor Karkaroff's nowhere in sight. No one's seen him for a day or two, actually, Professor Vector said.
I think mostly people are just happy we got through the year and no one died.
I'm writing my letter to the next Head Girl and it'll be done tomorrow. Everything's packed, mostly, and there'll be time for one more walk to the lake if it doesn't rain.
It's actually going to be hard to leave Saturday. I never thought I'd miss this place. But I've interviews to look forward to and especially being free to actually look with you for someplace to live!
I'm sorry - I really meant to open this by telling you I love the present. (Not least because it actually arrived on time and not a day late!) We'll use it to celebrate our new place, wherever it is.
