(I'll have to remember to have my dress robes scourgified. I wonder if I can find a tailor switch out the cuffs on them for me; they're beginning to look rather tatty.)

Every day is a little bit easier. Thank goodness the Prefects meeting is over and I'm finally done with all that stuff.

And I'm quite looking forward to the symphony. It was really so kind of Mr Malfoy to obtain the tickets for us. I know that there's been quite a demand for them, since it's the symphony's world premiere.

No, nor I, but you never know if they'll think you're shirking. I mean, I am larking off to New London with you, it's not like I've a sick granny or something.

And to that point, I've told my father that I'm staying with Laverty that part of the week. I've got to get a suitable set of robes, too, after all, and I can't think he'll be pleased I'm going shopping and hanging about with you when I could be home doing chores.

Ugh. In a way you're lucky. If your mum shoos the twins off to Jordan's, you'll likely be pretty much alone most of the summer. Especially once you find work. Then you'll only have to stand them at meals. You'll see, summer will go quickly and they'll all go back to school (where they'll be my problem!).
